Package Information

Pesawork is a mobile Banking platform, which enables our members to get services from the comfort of their seats. This service is offered through USSD, mobile application and WhatsApp banking. To enjoy this service, a member must fill a form, attach a photocopy of National ID card, and return to the Sacco for registration. Member must have a registered Safaricom line, which should be the number used for Savings account opening. Dial *886# or *645# to the get the following menu;

  • Balance Enquiry

Allows members to get balances for Various accounts.

  • Cash Withdrawal

Allows Members to withdraw from Sacco Savings Account to Mpesa for individual or joint account

  • Cash Deposit Via Mpesa

Allows members to deposit to various Sacco accounts direct from Mpesa. Use the following procedure;

    • Dial *886# or *645#
    • Transactions
    • Select Option 3 Deposit
    • Select the destination e.g. Savings or BOSA deposit
    • Select the account number that you want to deposit into
    • Put Amount that you want to deposit and press OK
    • Put your mobile banking pin and confirm
    • Put m-pesa PIN to complete the transaction.
    • You will get Mpesa SMS indicating you have you have deposited to account number that you selected and amount deposited.
    • You Will get another SMS from Nafasi DT Sacco confirming deposit successful.
  • Mini Statement

Allows members to get the last five entries done on the account

  • Funds Transfer

Allows members to transfer money to various accounts within the Sacco.

  • Loans

Allows members to repay loan, get Salary Advance and view balances

  • Buy Airtime

Will allow members to Topup their Safaricom lines from Sacco Savings Account.

  • Change PIN

Allows members to change their PIN.

NOTE: Members can also make deposit using paybill option using the below procedure; Go to M-Pesa

  • Lipa na M-Pesa
  • Paybill
  • Business number is: 920100
  • Account number: Your ID Number
  • Enter amount
  • Enter Mpesa PIN
  • Confirm, and click OK

You will receive SMS from Mpesa and Sacco confirming deposit successful.

This is innovative method by Nafasi Sacco for merchant payments.  It enables customers to pay for goods or services through a number that is linked with the owner’s Sacco account.

The money is automatically credited into the Sacco account. To register for lipa kwa sacco service, fill a form and return to Sacco for onboarding.

  • Builds one’s account in the Sacco hence can qualify for loan
  • Encourages savings


To apply for ATM, download the ATM application form from Nafasi Sacco website, fill and return to the Sacco for processing.

When the card is ready for collection; you will receive an sms from Nafasi Sacco Ltd.


  1. Linked to FOSA account; members can access the cash in their SACCO account ANYTIME, ANYWHERE – no need to travel to and queue at a FOSA
  2. Can check account balance and mini-statement
  3. Can be used to make merchant payments like supermarkets, petro-stations and others at no charges.
  4. Can pay utility bills e.g. electricity, water, hospital bills
  5. Visa branded – can be used at any Co-op Bank ATM or Agent countrywide, and any Visa Branded ATM worldwide

Members can view their statements using our members portal by using the following procedure;

  1. Visit
  2. Put your member number e.g. 09999 and your password
  3. Enter the Captcha test as displayed then click login
  4. If you forgot the password or are a new member, put the Captcha text then click Reset password.
  5. Enter your Member number and ID Number and click submit Request. An SMS will be sent to your phone with the new password.
  6. Login with the new password and then change the password.

The web portal allows members to do the following:

  1. View deposits, shares, and loans guaranteed
  2. View FOSA account statements
  3. Funds transfer
  4. Request/Block ATM card
  5. Place a standing order
  6. View running loans

To apply for digital loans, use the following procedure:

1.Dial *645# or *886#

  1. Select 3: Loans
  2. Select 5: Digital loans
  3. Check eligibility then apply
  4. To apply, input amount qualified, repayment period and guarantor’s phone number.
  5. The guarantor will be notified via SMS. The guarantor will dial *645#, Loans>>digital loans>>approve loan
  6. Once the guarantor approves, the loan will be posted to FOSA account.
  7. The Loanee will be notified via SMS.
